Hi guys,
Well, I'm using DRM for editing a movie, but it seems that the exported movie isn't modified as exactly as what I wanted.

Here's how the movie is (in my project file named edited.drp) before I export:
-->see attached file: before1.gif

Here's the final movie I get after exporting:
-->see attached file: after1.gif

As you may see, in VTS4/ Menu En/ PGC18, DRM automatically added a cell command Link Cell 6 - which I had blanked and assigned it to the Cells 3,4 (as I encircled in the screenshot), consequently, that made my menu jumped into a blanked block after playing cell 3 - which couldn't happen in my "edited" project where the command was LinkTopProgram, not Link Cell 6 which added (by error?) by DRM.

The others VTS in red got the same errors, but this time: Cell command is not assigned to any PGC cell, so it doesn't affect my DVD fonction.
Here's a sample screenshot of VTS2 to make it clearer:
Before exporting:
--> see attached file: before2.gif
After exporting:
--> see attached file: after2.gif

Sorry for the inconvenience that I couldn't post image links because I have not had 3 legitimate posts yet. Crying or Very sad
Anyway, I couldn't get to download any older versions to test this. problem.

With no editing at all, would you mind convert the VTS4 menus to still with audio disabled, then export modified files to some folder A. Copy the original VTS_02_1.VOB (since the size is small) over to folder A. Now zip up all the IFOs, VTS_02_1.VOB and VTS_04_0.VOB, and attach in this forum if possible. If not, upload to some file hosting site, like savefile.com. We'll see if your problem can be duplicated.

In, VTS4/Menu En/PGC18, which cell(s) did you blank? Did you do something to VTS2?

Hi toaddub,

Well, in VTS4/Menu En/PGC18, I blanked cells 4+5+6 (which are French Menus) and I did set NOP to its pre commands which link to these French Menus, so there's no way to access these.
And in VTS2 Program Chains, which are just Movie Ads - I blanked them all. Besides, in VTS2/Program Chains/PGC2, I copied and added the Post Command (Call "root" menu) to the Pre Commands, just to skip all these "ads" blocks.

Here's the folder A as you asked, hope I made it correctly for you: http://cntt0.free.fr/DRM_assist/A.rar (201MB)

Wow, I didn't expect the files to be that big. I thought the VTS2 VOB file is < 1MB which is shown in your before2.gif. Apparently, you blanked it before capturing the screenshot. No biggie.

Well, I can't duplicate the problems you're having. Blanking cells 4+5+6 does not add the cell command, Link Cell 6, which is what I expect not to happen. Adding NOP to the pre command section does nothing at all; in other words, it does not prevent the now blanked French menus from being run.

Since you're blanking the French menus, you might as well use the "Bypass menu (auto select button)" for button 1 on the language selection menu (VTS5/Menus en/PGC4). This will ensure that the English main menu will be accessed and the blank French menus will never be touched.

As for VTS2, same situation => blanking the PGCs does not add another LinkTailPGC. You don't have to copy the post command and paste to the pre commands section. If you have the Auto Bypass feature checked under Options, it will automatically do that for you when you blank the PGC and export.

I think you may have a corrupt version of DvdReMake Pro. Go to your account and download it again.

Hi toaddub,

Thanks for your suggestion. In fact, I want to keep that language menu, so that when the user click on French, the French Audio will automatically be selected, but the menu would still be in English. That's why I had to edit some pre commands there Smile
And also thanks for your "corrupt" idea, actually, I've just re-downloaded DRM as you said, the problem persisted though, and I forgot to clearify this detail: I was using my project file edited.drp to export the movie - It's that file which made this problem!!! Then I tried importing and exporting the movie again without using that saved project, no strange problem happened. Shocked I'm really confused how can this happened to that project file!!!! So now, I have to remove those troubling commands in my exported movie, because I did change a lot in that saved project and don't want to start over again...
Again, thanks a lot for your super cool help, toaddub. I wouldn't have got this through without you, thank you.
By the way, could I know when the new version (with multiangle problem fixed) will be released? It took whole a while that there's no new developement of this cool tool.

Glad you got it working. Maybe the saved project file is missing some info!? Rolling Eyes Did you save it in 3.6.2? Did you reload the saved project and work on your edit again before exporting? Is this what was causing the problem? If you could reproduce the problem, it would help Dimad greatly.

I don't know when a new release would come out. That's for Dimad to answer. I am actually hoping for another beta as there are other minor bugs and enhancements, including ILVU problem, to test out.

Hi toaddub,
Yes, every time I load that edited.drp and export the movie, this problem comes back in. I don't know if it's helpful to upload this project file? And this file was created with v3.6.2, too.

Probably not helpful as the project file contains specific path and all the editing info of a specific DVD. I must have the exact testing environment to be able to load the project file. Probably Dimad is able to view it in readable format with some type of viewer. Let's just say for now that the file is corrupt.
