The movies I burn to DVD works fine playing for awhile...then they start tripping out. I get these squares on the screen and a scambled picture to the point where the movie won't play anymore. I am using a DVD+ RW drive to burn the movies. I have no ploblem playing in this drive but when I play them in another DVD player thats when I have the problem. If the type of drive is the problem when burning...what is the best typeof drive to burn with? Thanks

Read FAQ. - give DivXtoDVD log - DVD player model - does your movie play in computer from burned disk? - does your movie play in computer from converted folder?

Hello JJ, I have no problem playing the original file, the converted file or the burnt DVD on my computer. My daughter's portable DVD player (APEX PD5) has the problem playing these DVD's. They start out fine (about an hour...depending) playing and then the problem starts. And sometimes my PS2 has a problem, not a real problem with the PS2. I don't have a specific log to send you at this time but on my next conversion I will send. Thanks

ok - if disk plays fine on one system and not on other - most likely bad media. Try some good media and burn with slowspeed - does it still give problems?

I re-burnt the same movie at 4x speed instead of 8x and its been playing fine in the portable DVD player with no problem. To the rescue once again JJ!!!! Thanks
