original problem was that I had no audio with my movie. I read the forum thread and decided to try VirualDub; however I can't get it to do anything . Does it work automatically or how do I start it?

First - does your movie have audio when played on computer? If yes - then what does DivXtoDVD report? Include log here please. Second - get a hold of program called GSpot - http://gspot.headbands.com/ Open that original with it. Export that information here. And check this thread: http://www.cdr-zone.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2645&sid=70dac59e769ef0148312d1cbed0feaea

ok, if you have no audio then check with GSpot - might be that whole file has no audio. Or then just the usual codec missing..

When i retried to burn with Nero I recieved a notice that I needed a DVD0video plugin from Nero. Where can I find that and will it solve my problem?

You do not need it. That is needed only when you are converting your video with Nero. DivXtoDVD is handling conversion, you just make data-DVD and put video_ts folder (with all converted files inside) to that disk.

Could it be that my Nero isn't configured properly? This lil problem is driving me nuts. All I want is to hear the movie that burned so well.

On ORIGINAL moviefile? Then what did it report about audio? What type of audio? Do you get audio with ORIGINAL moviefile played on computer? More information is needed - logs preferably.

Ok, so your original movie has soundtrack. Then - can you play any mp3-files on your computer? Do you get ANY audio out from your computer?
Quote:
bitrate: 128 kb/s (4/ch, stereo) CB
This was probably typo? It should be like this:
Quote:
bitrate: 128 kb/s (64/ch, stereo) CB
But still - GSpot reports that you DO have installed codecs to play that sound, so if only that movie has no sound, then it has silent soundtrack.

Yes, I can listen to just about everything.... everything but the movie. I downloaded the movie from Ares it plays and has audio in Windows Media Player and Realplayer; just not after I converted it with DivxtoDVD and burned it with Nero.
