I have a rack of DVD's (they all play fine with no issues). Most of the DVD's were ripped and burned with DVDFab Platinum & the HD Decryptor.

I have an portable HD that I want to rips the DVD's to now so I can travel with them and I can't rip the copied movies. I've tried DVDFab Platinum, DVD HD Decryptor, DVDShrink, DVD Decryptor and Roxio (these are copied DVD and have no copy protection on them) all of them fail with CRC errors around 45-50% (right around the middle of the disc). I've tried several different DVD's and they all fail at the same exact point.

I'm a little lost here, any help would be much appreciated. The DVDFab Platinum threw a 400 Error code.

there are two possibility, one is that something wrong with your OS otherwise it won't come up with that kind of error
the other one is something wrong with your dvd shrink or some similar tools, because HD-DVD is a new format and some software can not support this kind of transfering and you should try xilisoft dvd creator or you may be need to update your tools
