Question re: Dimad. I have about 50 different versions of a DVD I am re-authoring to make. The DVD has 30 PSAs and at the end of each I need to put a different company logo. I have been trying to figure out a way to just replace the file so that it automatically changes all 30 PSAs by changing the source file (the company logo). I thought by re-titling the file exactly the same as the one before it would do this but that is not the case and I still have to replace each split manually.
There is sort of like the "replace footage" concept in After Effects. By replacing the file it references, all the places it is used are updated with the replaced file. Then I wouldn't have to click and replace block 30 times x 50 different DVDs.
Is this possible or should I just get a faster mouse finger??
THanks for any answers

Sure you can do it faster. At first you need to create a version of the DVD with shared ending. Way of doing it depends on how your original is authored. If all material is in the same VTS it is very simple, just use a "Substitute Block" on all but first entry and point all to the first. If they are in different VTS you may need to change disk navigation, so that after each "episode" playback is redirected to the company logo and then back to where it is supposed to go.
Once you have this project you should be able to just replace one block and export (do it 50 times ) to get what you need. |
