Swapping one Vob file for another

I'm trying to swap one Vob file for a shorter version of the same file. (I shortened it using VideoWomble.)

The original disc has 6 main Vobs, and the 7th Vob is a short aninmation that plays before the menu screen appears. This is the one I'd like to replace.

The original is 5mb, the shorter version is about 1.8mb.

However, when I try and load the new Vob into DVDRemake Pro I get the error 'Can't find segment' (1007: VobData.cpp)

What does this mean? How do I swap the files?

Import the source DVD. Select the block you want to replace with the shorter version, and select 'Replace block'. Click on Load and select the VOB to replace. Ignore the warning if it pops up.

I have got similar message by replacing block with copy and paste. However final export was fine. I wonder if it is a bug?
