| Like the title says, how can I determine wich subtitle stream is wich. Ex. I've seen a couple of DVD's where Dutch is 64 (is this always like that, like stream 0x20 is usually Dutch in Decrypter). If I want to set the register mode manually in the sub menu, with what proggie can I see what streams (with the numer RM uses) are used? I've taken a look with IfoEdit but I can"t find it. Any suggestions? Tnx |

| Nope, As most Dutch dvd's (or home-subbed dvd's)have dutch as there first subtitle language you will see those same numbers most of the time. I think: 64 just represents the 1st stream. 64 is binary 1000000 Jut don't look at the first 1, as this is register lenght filling. Then you're left with 0, which represents the first stream. Using 0 in the command would do exactly the same. 0 = 64 = Subtitle 1 1 = 65 = Subtitle 2 etc. So just look at the order of the subtitle streams during playback via remote, or right-click windvd, or use IFoedit. |

| thats right, DVDShrink changes the mapping so the 1st is 64 and the 2nd is 65 etc. This is what sometimes messes up the menu buttons etc or how people sometimes miss audio due to the remapping when they keep menu's I can't see why DVDShrink doesn't just fill in the removed streams with values from the ones that are kept. I've looked for someone to create a simple program that will do all the remapping for you (you can do it with Ifoedit but it takes ages to go through the IFO's depending on structure), so you can shuffle the streams around and no matter what stream is selected it will always play one Even if DVDShrink had an option to select which stream you want to replace any removed streams would have been good |
