Subtitles do not appear on DVD

Hi,
I´ve been trying to add subtitles to a movie but it´s not working. The movie + srt files have the exact same name and I did as told in the manual mentioned in topic 01. The srt file is automatically taken by ConcertXtoDVD as a external subtitle but you don´t see any subs on the DVD or even at the previewscreen. (I take it that you would see the subs in hte previewscreen if hte subs would work)

Hi,

Subtitles do not appear in the preview window.

Subtitles do not automaticly show on your DVD Player (TV).

You need to turn subtitles ON with your DVD Player Remote, just like a rented/bought commercial DVD.

If they are turned on and still can't see the subs, you may need to move them up a little in the settings (Only valid for .SRT subs).

I think that's wrong, my original DVD shows subtitles automatically by default, when converted with ConvertXtoDVD (& yes, Deault subtitle is checked) is simply doesn't show them by default.

Also, the subtitles added by ConvertXtoDVD are really ugly compared to the original ones.

If DVD player is set to automatically show default subtitles then it will - if not, subtitles have to be turned on with remote control.
Subtitle appearance can be changed - so it is up to user to make sure they are not ugly.
