Hi,
I've tried encoding one of my avi files and selecting "automatic" as the tv format. When it encodes, though, it doesn't make the video widescreen, but fullscreen instead. I've tried selecting "widescreen" and it does the same thing.
Before I try the process again, I'd like to know what I am doing wrong that's causing this to happen. Does anyone happen to know?
Thank you very much |

Now I actually tried it again, and When I ran the resulting video file using Videolan player, it was fine. I actually don't remember for sure whether I checked "Fullscreen" last time, or whether I just checked "automatic".
So my other question is, could the format change have anything to do with the burning process? I just want to make sure before I use another DVD R.
Thanks |

| No. Format does not affect burning. |
