Hi,
PC Rebooting is usually caused by heat.
Video conversion is very CPU intensive, which makes your CPU and motherboard overheat.
Is this a desktop ? Laptop ?
Try again with the cover off, and/or blow cool air in the case with a fan and try to convert the same file.
Start with that, else make sure you have no trojan, viruses etc... |

like I said in other post: could be overheating, deffective PSU, bad RAM, excesive Overclocking or...the "auto reboot" feature is enabled, so when there's a fatal error, windows just reboots instead of showing the BSOD.
BTW, PC rebooting is most likely caused by
1) deffective PSU
2) "auto reboot" feature enabled.
3) in some cases, deffective mobo.
Excessive heat usually causes the PC to hang or crash with a BSOD (which in turn reboots if the auto-reboot is enabled, but that's windows rebooting the PC, not a spontaneous reboot) |
