Can anyone assist? I am looking for software that will play a dvd and capture it's footage to be used as video clips AND also capture frames to be used as a slideshow.
Does this software/program exist?
Please help if you can.

p.s I have no special hardware attatched to my p.c by way of a capturecard etc etc,so everything is new to me!

Any software DVD player will be able to capture frames to your HD.
To get short clips you can use DVD Shrink or any editing software.
You need to have DVD on your HD
