Issue points:
-Upgraded to Windows XP Professional.
- DimadSoft Download Counter/CompID gives a number, say, 8E0000
- I enter the number at DimadSoft site, I download the corresponding RemakePro package.
- I install RemakePro. I receive an error message stating that the corresponding RemakePro was meant for another computer ID. Then it gives me the 'correct' ID for my computer, say: 000000.
- I return to DimadSoft 72 hours later, I enter the number given: 000000 and download corresponding RemakePro package. I install that, and RemakePro tells me that it is not compatible with my current computer ID, and then gives me the ID I started with 144 hours prior: 8E0000.
- Then another 72 hours.

| Are you using v2? Most probably drive C: is a removable drive in your system. Try to name some hard-drive as C: or to have some media in removable drive. |

Problem resolved.
You were dead on right. My system keeps a removable storage drive. But that, however, wasn't the problem-solving factor. It turned out that my system (up until after your reply) didn't have a drive assigned with the letter C. Once I assigned my removable drive as C:, DVDRemakePro setup went smoothly.
Thanks. Excellent support. |
