i have tried to play a disc with my photo's on, on my dvd player and i get a message saying wrong disc!
i am using dvd+rw discs (which i use to burn and play movies on - and they work fine) and i'm using pictures saved in jpg. format.
i have saved the format in pal (i live in europe) and i have tried various speeds - nothing works!
any ideas, please,

| I don't know what you mean by "various speeds" - where are you changing the speed? |

Sorry, that should have been obvious - it's been so long since I used anything but the default that I'd forgotten you can do that!
Have you tried playing the disk on your PC - that would show whether there was a problem with the burning process. I use +RW all the time but I suppose it could be a compatibility issue, even though you've used these disks before. Can you try a different brand of +RW, or maybe a +R? Do you have another DVD player you can try it in? What sort of DVD player are you using? The cheap far eastern imports will play just about anything, but some of the big names, particularly the older Sonys, can be picky. |

hello again, ian,
yeah i have tried it on the comp and it worked fine. i must admit i haven't tried it on a different dvd player, so that will be my next step. thanks for your help. i guess if nothing else works then it could just a compatability problem between the comp and the program, but having said that if that was the case then i wouldn't have been able to play it back on the comp in the first place. i will try it on another dvd player first before i give up lol. thanks for your help,

I had to experiment with different dvd formats till i found the right one. ie DVD-R or DVD+R. A lot of players only accept one format. I think DVD-R is the most common. Even the brand seemed to make a difference for me.
Good Luck |
