Hello everybody,

first of all, great tool, that saves me a lot of time working with
ConvertXToDVD, thanks for sharing ConvertXBatch.

Unfortunately i ran into a problem, where i'm not quite shure if it
is a bug or just me handling it in the wrong way.

The problem i have is with automatic creation of iso files after
converting. Up to this point everything works as expected, the dvd
files are created in the destination folder, where every dvd gets
its own folder, named after the first avi source file.

For example, when i have 2 xvid source files arranged by
(Multiple Files -> DVD) named "a.avi" and "b.avi", i get a folder named
"a" with the dvd files in the TS_VIDEO folder under "a".

But here my problem starts: no iso files are being created. Mkisofs is
being called but with the wrong arguments. Instead of the "a" folder the
source path given to mkisofs is something like filelist1, the name of
the filelist created by ConvertXBatch.

Is this a bug, that is probably known already or do i have to change
some settings?

Thanky for your help in advance

bye, steelrat

Why do you need to create iso?
Just burn audio_ts and video_ts folders as data to DVD.

For me iso files are just more convenient than folders full of files,
handling is easier and also is burning with DVD Decrypter.

So, can anyone help with the problem described above?

Ok people, just to let you know, I haven't paid the bill for my hosting account yet....(woops) - so I have no website at the moment, which is a pain. I just had an extended "break" from CxB, but now I'm back and trying to find the source files.....lol. If you guys wouldnt mind making up a list of the bugs and problems you have been having and post it here, that would be excellent!

Thanks,
InfectiousX

hmmm just a little hiccup...i seem to have misplaced the source code...it was on a backup cd somewhere.

So I have decided to start CxB from scratch....so if you guys can get that list crankin (in dot points plz...lol) that would be great.

I cant give you an ETA just yet lol, but I promise I'm working on it lol.

Hey peepz,

Status update - The basics of version 2.0 are almost complete. I have not started the core automation process yet. So far I have completed the following:

Interface designed. Heaps less clutter.
Main menu designed. Simpler.
Not tabbed anymore. Settings dialog is separate.
Tray Icon is completed.
ToolTips are cool little bubbles now. Not the boring old ones.
New application icon.
The settings dialog is fully functional.

In fact so far everything is fully functional, except the automation process.
If anyone is interested in testing it so far, please email me, or use the support system on my website.

Thanks,

Hi,

I really enjoy v1.5, so I hope v2.00 will have to a minimum all the features that v1.5 had Laughing

With both of us working and 2 kids, I fully understand !

This is why I didn't offer myself to be a ßeta tester, since when you asked, I was quite busy.

If you still need an extra pair of eyes to try it, I'll be willing to give it a run, but as i said, family first Shocked

Keep up the good work, it's an awsome addition to ConvertXtoDVD !

Hey peepz,

I thought I would release what I have done so far with CxB 2.0.

- The batch process is all done.
- Creating ISO's is all done. (At the moment creating ISO's from premade projects isnt possible.)
- Reworked GUI.
- Double click a queue item will display its media info. (Thanks to the MediaInfo author for that one.)
- Backing up CxDVD options and restoring them is done.
- Ability to remove original media after conversion.
- Ability to remove converted media after ISO creation.

There is still quite a bit that needs doing.

- Adding multiple files to a filelist.
- Drag and Drop.
- Accepting all the file extensions that CxDVD supports.
- Shutdown when done.
- All the others things I missed lol.

So head over to http://www.infectiousx.com to download the beta.

Cheers guys,
InfectiousX
