New release looks really nice. Will give it a test run during this weekend. One thing tho, maybe u should add a file with the changelog into the ZIP archive or even maybe make the changelog available under the 'Help' menu.

I have the 'Shutdown When Finished' option selected, unfortunately it does not work for me, all I get is a Windows error message saying 'Program Not Responding'. I have version 1.5 installed, Windows xpPro sp2,Netframework 2.0 with updates. I even did a reinstall of Convertxbatch but the outcome was the same. I'm using CXToDVD 2.1.12.214. Nothing about the error is mentioned in either log file, Any suggestions? Apart from this error, the batch program seems a nice bit of software.

Cheers!

Hi there,

This may not be a ConvertXBatch issue.

To prove it, convert a small video using a Dos Prompt or write yourself a quick batch file, iwth the /shutdown switch.

I had a nice sticky message in this forum, but something happened, and now there's no line break.

I'll have to take time later and clean it up Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad

In the ConvertXtoDVD Settings, in the Burning Tab, disabled

[ ] Burn results to DVD

This way the output will stay on your Hard Drive, and won't try to auto burn !

Hi all- I am a total newb. Read up as much as I could on convertxbatch..

I have an older computer that runs the FAT32 filing system.
It limits file sizes to 4GB. In convertxtodvd, I set the target
size to a bit less- 3950GB.

The other day I used the "Green +" button in convertxtodvd
to add 2 files. I wanted to convert 2 separate files, ie. have two
separate
3950GB files (1 for each DVD). It appeared from the
log, that convertxdvd was combining my 2 files into 1 file
TOTALLING 3950GB.

So , is convertxbatch for me? Or am I missing something with the
original program convertxtodvd ?

Very much appreciated Very Happy
Sincerely,

Dbar

Hi there,

ConvertXBatch is for anyone who wishes to convert several projects in a row, or several individual files to different output, in 1 shot, without the need to be there.

This method will combine both files to one DVD.

No need to do this.
That limit does not affect DVD format; all files in DVD are under 1GB each.
