I am using the following command line to encode in Plextools XL using lame.exe as an external decoder: -V 2 --vbr-new --noreplaygain --add-id3v2 --pad-id3v2 --ignore-tag-errors --ta "%a" --tt "%t" --tg "%m" --tl "%g" --ty "%y" --tn "%n" %s %d However this creates a file with no extension, which always has only the name of the artist as the filename! If I add the ,mp3 extension to this file, it is the correctly encoded mp3 file. It also creates the file in the Plextools directory, not the output path directory. Lame.exe is in the Plextools directory. Anyone know what I am doing wrong? I do not want to use the .dll version, as it creates incorrect vbr headers. regards Tyke
