dvdremake 3.4.2 crashs no matter what I do

Reproducible: Always even after restarting computer and creating a different project or importing a new dvd OS: winxp home sp1 When I first open the dvdremake program, without loading a project or opening a cd everything works fine. I can click on any menu item; file, view, tools, help, and visite their sub menus and options with out the program crashing. When I load a project the program will crash even if I breath too hard. So lets say that i load a project. In this case the project is a dvd which was copied to my harddrive, using dvdShrink. Clicking on "help" and then "about" crashes the program. But if the yellow question mark is clicked the program does not crash. Other crashes with a project opened and accessing the main menu include clicking on: "window" --> "new window" or "cascade" "tools" --> "options" "file" --> "save project as" "view" --> "menus animation" --> any option When I make a modification to a project, like hide a block, and then try to save the project, "file" --> "save" the program will crash. Also if I save the project using the save icon sometimes the program will crash. There have been other instances where I am hiding a frame or such an the program crashes but I will leave those for later.

Welcome to the forum! Do previous versions behave the same? Donwload the latest version and try again. Maybe it's something in your system that ReMake does not like. You might want to upgrade to SP2.

Last time I checked I had the latest version, 3.4.2. I played around with dvdremake and was able to import, save project, and export a dvd. It is in my believe that there many errors in the program. I was able to save a project and export a dvd by using the icons under the main menu. If using save or export under the file menu then the program crashes. I dont think it is other software that is in conflict with dvdremake because I have tried it on a computer with winxp sp1 or sp2. I even tried it on a different computer with a fresh install of winxp without any other programs installed except what was on the winxp install program. Dvdemake also has the same error problems when using winVista beta.
