The reason you cannot backup the movie is because you have DVD43 running in the background. The plugin will not work properly with AnyDVD, DVD43 or a region free program running at the same time. Exit out of any of these programs and use the plugin. That's what I used and it worked fine.

I wasn't running dvd43 when i used pgedit and dvdd. I only ran it when I was useing programs that don't decrypt (like xcopy xpress, and 1 click copy) (and I think I used it with dvd shrink 1 time) I also didn't use it with dvd fab exspress.many of them said they had put it on the hd, but dvd shrink wouldn't touch it and shrink to five did, but only gave me the last scene and the credits..I even tried (and wasted a DL disc) not shrinking it and got the same results. I tried this all on 2 dif computers., I am starting to think it will be cheaper just to buy another copy..., On a completely dif note. on the stack base for it at walmart, they had put on the side "broke bake mountian" , that made the words on the stack base rather discusting "includes Gag reel" Shocked Shocked

The way your original post was written makes it a little misleading. What is the name of this movie and region you are trying to backup?

I have done this movie using the wizard and phase 1 of the psl2 plugin with no problems. As long as DVD Decrypter's settings are set to default and you are using v2.14 of the plugin and running no other programs in the background the plugin will work just fine on this title.

I prefer using Imgtool Classic 0.91.7 to convert VIDEO_TS files to a ISO file and then ImgBurn to burn ISO file to disk. Both programs are freeware.

You can get the pay version of DVD Fab Platinum. That allows you to burn directly to DVD. They have a 30 day free trial for that. The other thing you can do is get Nero 7 Ultra or any new version of roxio. That allows you to burn movies from your hard drive to DVD. All these programs cost money, but with nero, there are ways around that. I personally use Nero 7 Ultra. Bill
