| Curious if you tried my Cheasy Frame cutting Hack? I was bored tonight and decided to write a small App in VB6, which I think you code in also. I figured "Why do all thos steps manually?" Don't know if you interested or not. Don't really see anywhere to upload the App? Oh well. Keep in mind that the Frame Cutter does NOT yield a technically DVD compliant VOBU segment, though I do Pad mine to 2048 LBA sectors. Now if you read this Dimad, What we need is a "Cut on Both sides of this VOBU (from where ever the slider is). If you want to really start a new thread on this let me know. We could discuss DVDremake converting a single motion VOBU to a Still Frame VOB. Would need some Key bytes altered, broken GOP flag, then extract a Single I-Frame, then pad it to 2048 with the appropraite bytes... Basically, check out GOPCHOP on the Net, very similiar to what you do, just need to tweak it a bit to yield a Still I-Frame.... VidHack |

| Am I mistaken or is GOPChop only for Unix systems? Is there a decent MPEG-2 cutter for Windows. Every tool I have tried so far has failed dismally. |
