|
|
| hi i just been playing with Star Wars - Phantom menace and noticed 4 angles on the opening credits ( one for each of the languages ) and cannot find a way to remove these angles i will not need as they are not in english. Is there any way with DRM to remove these? Also: it seems DRM cannot replace an interleaved block ( so i guess this begining credits with multi angles is an interleaved block ) regards |

| Angle removal as well as audio/sub-picture streams removal will be implemented in DvdReMake 2.0. |

This year? If seriously it is not clear. This feature by itself would not take very long to implement, but to reduce time for testing and bug fixing we would like to implement all (or most of the) planned features for 2.0 before releasing it. The amount of time we will dedicate to this project will also depend on the popularity of ver 1. Time at the moment is most critical resource. And we would like to thank again everybody who helped us save some of it by making guides on how to use DvdReMake. |

| Back to my angle question! i must be thick! DOH DOH DOh, to remove angles in phantom menace, simply tell dvddecrypter to rip the angle only that you want to keep! On importing into DRM, a compliancy check or something similar must be taking place as it takes over 5 mins to import the dvd with angles removed, but it is exported brilliantly! Is DRM checking and fixing stuff as i have removed angles? If so, great, cos to do it manually in ifo edit is tiresome:) edit: the exported dvd plays great but it takes over 30 mins to open the saved project ( infact quicker to re-import it and let it check again ) |

| wow, i just downloaded the demo and really like the looks of the interface. A question on star wars (episode 2) it also has similar angle issues. I am happy to lose all but angle 1, how do i get dvd decrypter to rip just that angle plus all the other stuff (menus, etc..) and only lose extraneous angles? thanx -jp |

| goto dvdecypter options goto file mode on right hand side where multi angle processing is mentioned choose the angle u would like to keep ( in this case for uk choose angle 1 to keep english ) Episode 2 is exactly the same as episode 1 with the angles:) @Dimad..do u want my original and stripped ifos? |

| hmmm i ripped as you said and angles 2 and 3 have been removed from vts_05_1.vob however, it seems as if there are 3 seperate menus (no idead how it switches between them, nor how it selects which it shows). These menus total 586mb, it would be awesome to reduce this by 2/3rds.. I think i can do this with decrypter/remake, but not sure.. any help? the menus are in vts_05_0.vob -jp |

| Yes, this is the same with Phantom menace.. Without the full version you will not be able to test this but i simply played the dvd and noticed too that only one set of menus seems to be selected all the time with no way of switching, so i simply used the 'Hide block' feature on the 2 sets of menus that where not visible when i played the dvd. |
