Saw these, and they sort of look like a cheap bargain, but really want R1 playback. Anyone know if there's a code, or who produces the guts for this machine? Thanks

Hi Centurian Draco, I bought one of these a while ago but have only just got around to setting it up today! I also wanted a R1 playback and was very happy when I just put an R1 disc in and pressed play - it worked perfectly! See section in manual - page18 P/N -This appears to allow you to switch from PAL to NTSC. Hope it works OK for you.
