Hi Folks, this is my first post and hopefully it works within this section. I got a VAIO VGN-A317S Laptop with the Sony DW-D56A DVD RW burner built in. Since a few weeks and I don't know which installed software might be responsible for that the audio is stottering whenever a media is played with the drive from CD or DVD. That really sucks. DMA mode is on. Nero ImageDrive has been deactivated. All tried media play well in other notebook or standalone DVD player. I've downloaded the latest firmwareupdate (SOFOPD-00829906-UN.exe) and will try to fix with that. Have any of you guys an idea how to fix that problem?
