@gman Strange you would make a statement that the plugin and DVDD does not work. Apparently maybe you do not know how to use it correctly. I can rip any DVD in 15 minutes or under using the plugin and DVDD. DVDFab has made some changes to there latest release on ripping ARccOS/RipGuard disks, but they still have not changed the fact that when there program encounters errors on a disk, it replaces with blank data whick leaves holes in your movie. I would personally want it to stop like DVDD does and tell you where the error is so you can try and copy it by other means or replace the disk. I would rather do this than have a backup with parts of the video missing. Good luck with DVDF. Regards

gman, maybe in NY it is normal to shout at ppl. Here on this forum using capital letters is a form of shouting and is considered rude. I don't think I have misread anything into your post. It is obvious you do not know how to use the PSL2 Plugin correctly because if you did you would know it does not burn DVD's. My suggestion is for you to read the 80+ page user guide on how to use this program along with all the other programs associated with it. Regards

Used it for the first time a few weeks ago, it's so simple to use you don't even have to read the guide, wizard explains everything step by step. Only thing you have to know is: PGCEdit -> plugin -> PSL2 (ARccOS) -> Wizard

The US R1 original version of this title has no such special protection or have I heard of this used in any other country. Sometimes DVD's have auto run programs for the web and will install if you accidently say yes. Maybe you should turn off the auto play feature in your software player program and you will not have this problem again. Regards

Yes you can back up "Just Friends" without causing problems to your computer. You apparently were having problems when your system took a dump. The DVD or backing it up would not have caused any majors computer issues. I recommend using the PSL2 Plugin and DVD Decrypter for backing up your pesonally own DVD's.
