I just made a very nice photo DVD using VSO Photo DVD after my copy of Copy to DVD SE said I needed that product to do what I wanted. I set the copy to "NTSF" I think it was for playing in America. Plays fine on the computer (HP dv1000) usinging windows xp, but comes up with error message that can't play on the babies DVD Sanyo player. TI used a staples dvd+r 2 hr. disk. Can't find anyting in their faq's about not playing on standard dvd players, in fact they tout it plays great on them. Any coaching as I'm not really familliar with this format - My wife wants to send this to her dad to pop in his dvd player - Bob

That would be NTSC, the North American TV standard. I was going to suggest the problem was that you've got a PAL tv that can't handle NTSC, but you said there's an error message - is that from the DVD player? I'd be surprised if the player was having a problem with the format - what model is it? It's possible you got unlucky and it was just a bad burn, so I'd try again - if that fails try using the PAL format - that would show whether it was a format or compatibility problem. Ian G.
