Hi there, I'm one of the ßeta Testers for DivxToDVD. Don't want to sound negative but: v1.99.19.59 has fixed the menu issues with my Toshiba DVD Player, but now I'm having issues with the Built In Burn Engine. Please not Patin Coffin is now at version 29 ! If you use DivxToDVD to burn your Video-DVD I would hold off a few days to see if it's JUST ME, or something did go wrong in v1.99.19.59 for the burning engine ! If menus works for you in v1.99.19.45 or v1.99.19.50 stick with it, until a fix is found (If there is problems, other than me) ! I don't recall burning with v1.99.19.50 so not sure if I would have issues with this one ! My 2 cents !

Hi there, Smile They have been there for a few releases now Smile DivxToDVD 1.99.15 - introduce menu options DivxToDVD 1.99.16 - improve menu options DivxToDVD 1.99.19 DivxToDVD 1.99.19b DivxToDVD 1.99.19c DivxToDVD 1.99.19d they worked on making the menus more compatible. I have a Toshiba SD-3860 (NTSC) in Canada. It's a real picky little bugger ! DivxToDVD 1.99.19d fixed all issues I had with the menus. Currently, the menu entry (Text) will be the FILENAME from FILENAME.EXT So if you wish to see: Spiderman 2 (Part 1) Spiderman 2 (Part 2) in your menu, you will need to RENAME your files to: Spiderman 2 (Part 1).avi Spiderman 2 (Part 2).avi for NOW ! Future releases should (I hope) let use choose the menu TEXT regarless of the filename ! (Or default to the Filename) An other little option I have suggested to VSO. Are you running v1.99.19d ? (v1.99.19.59) ? Are you having burning issues ? I only tested with a DVD+RW and it gave me problems, I do not want to generate coasters with DVD-R so I'm waiting on VSO to confirm if it's just me or they can reproduce some problems ! Patin Couffin Internal Release 29 is what I have installed now. I have done 1 test with 27 small video files from my digital camera. I could only see 25 of them properly on my 32 in JVC TV and playing in my LG 7732NSC DVD Player. #1 and #27 were cut off on top and on the bottom. I had a quick discuttion with VSO, if they go what was we talked about, we might see (In future releases) Pages of Menus. Page #1 = Menu item 1 to 10 Page #2 = Menu item 11 to 20 It goes pretty quick with real small video files like I use. I can probably fit hundreds of those little .mpg files on 1 media. Menus will have to follow Smile

Hi there, DivxToDVD v1.99.20 has just been released ! I have no ChangeLog for now. The menus are created automaticly, there is *NO* menus, nothing in the interface ! Just convert, and the menus are now present in your VIDEO_TS files. Burn and hit Menu on your DVD Remote ! I will test the burn engine in v1.99.20 tonight !

Hi again, If you convert just 1 file, no menu is created ? Funny enought, I always converted a few files for testing Smile Never had the idea of converting just 1 file to see if the menu will be created with 1 entry ! I will test myself and see for myself what it does Smile Thanks for the input !

Hi again, If you have some DVD-RW or DVD+RW media, and if you have a few minutes, could you try burning a VIDEO_TS dir with DivxToDVD v1.99.20 (Patin Couffin v1.29) I'm still having issues, and do not want to test DVD-R and make costers. CopyToDVD v3.0.61 runs fine with Pcouffin.sys v1.29 I have always used the same DVD+RW but since v1.99.19d it says it's formating the DVD+RW, the burner lights goes on and off, on and off (Not normal) then says something like Media Not Ready, and does nothing Sad Thanks for the update on the 1 file conversion !

DARN, I will test 1 DVD-R and if it works, then it must be something else. It really hates this DVD+RW that I have always used. If I make 1 coasters, I can live with 1, not a whole cake of 25 Smile Thanks JJ for your input !

I just did a multi file conversion and burned it thru DivxToDVD 1.99.20.60. Worked just fine here. This time i got the menus, but something i would really like 2 c is that the menu comes up when i put in the dvd. Now i have 2 bring 'em up by clicking on the menu button on my remote.

Yes - now it is set as title menu instead of root menu. And first title is set to autoplay instead of showing menu, these are causing this.
