transcoding for dvd-r failed. Destination files are too big for 36 mb to fit on dvd-r. please try transcoding again by changing the transcoding disc size from4474 to 147. a bit more specific for ya

Just a note about this movie, but little out of topic. Some users are getting a 'Read Error' with this DVD. The reason is because it is one of the new DVDs that use bad media. Those are not readable in every DVD-Rom drive. I have the same problem with my Pioneer DVD-Rom. But when I put those into my dvd-burner then it's ok. So try to use a different drive if you have read problems with this DVD.

I tried to backup thruogh my pioneer dvd-rom,and just like you I got read errors. I then used my generic comp usa dvd-rom and it worked. I am not sure why,but the video quality of this backup is not very good. there are a lot of fast action scenes(some in slow motion). I suggest anyone backing up this title remove all extras or even do movie only.

I did a movie only copy for House of Flying Daggers with Sony DVD+/- RW 4x drive and had no problems both with quality and reading. Just thought I would share. Louis
