| heres my problem: i'm trying to make a multi-movie dvd. i converted the two xvids using divxtodvd (i played the vobs...flawless as usual) then i loaded the video_ts folder into TMPGEnc DVD Author so i can make a menu for my multi-movie dvd. it loaded up all fine. i created the menus and after it was done authoring, the audio was out of sync/the video was lagging TDA doesn't reencode and the divxtodvd files were perfect so what happened in between? the usual response is the "audio wasnt 48 khz" or "the framerate was different for the two movies" but divxtodvd corrects all that and makes them into the standard dvd format, correct? menus are kind of important when making these kinds of dvds so i really need ur help here! |

| I had same thing. But I got this WITHOUT DivXtoDVD; so problem is not only with DivXtoDVD. I just recorded directly from VHS to computer as mpeg2, and audiodelay was there. I have no idea how or why; I suspect that somehow multiplexing that mpeg2 with video from gfx-card inout and audio from soundcard input are not in sync. Only way to fix it was to use TMPGEnc Express first to set audio according to delay. There is an option on chapter edit mode to set this. Then all went fine, just takes more time. Sadly there is no way to edit that audiodelay on DivXtoDVD. (yet?) |
