| Hi Chris, I tried CloneDVD in its early days and it was very good in combination with AnyDVD. The compression engine is very good but I found it to 'butcher' the odd IFO and the split function was at best awkward. Its quick, it offers a friendly interface and is very competitive price wise. The author is well known for his past work on CloneCD and customer support is not bad. Still it lacks the ability to remove exactly what you want. its a question of how many pieces of software you would like to have to buy to complete the task. Everyone has their personal favourite way of doing it. Alot of users also swear by Dvd95Copy as an all in one solution. I still prefer to use DVDDecrypter to rip it to HD, then use DvdReMake to remove any video or pics i do not want, then use either 1ClickDVDCopy or DVDShrink to encode, with 1Click being much the faster of the two. |
