| Hello, I just purchased this product and am very happy with its ease of use and the quality of its output. I am having one problem; when I create a DVD and add music the tracks I add play once and then the remainder of the show is silent. When I create the DVD it says that audio will loop but it doesn't. I looked for some type of preference setting for audio files but can't find any. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for your help, Dave |

| That is correct. I have tried one song, two songs & four songs. Each song plays once and then the remainder of the slide show is silent. I am using mp3 format for the songs. Is there a setting I have missed to get the audio to loop? |

| Program only plays three songs in succession and then nothing, only pictures. I have just downloaded the latest program and paid for it too, utterly dissapointed. Lost three DVD's in the process. Program is no good for me without audio for all the pictures. Hope you will have a fix for this and not just promises. |

| Hi, I don't know if I quite understand. Are you saying that on your DVD with the example that you gave, that first without pictures, 3 songs will play and then after they are finished the pictures start to go by? Or you have a lot of pictures and the sound doesn't play through the whole length of the slideshow? If, it is the second case described above, this can be fixed, or changed---you have complete control. After having selected your pictures, click next and in the next window concerning Audio, here you select your three (or more) that you want to be played during slideshow. On the bottom right hand corner you can see if you music is longer or shorter than your slideshow. IF you want absolutely to show your pictures during the lenght of only three songs, you will need to go back to the previous page and adjust the duration of time the each image will be displayed either for them to go from image to image faster (if you have a lot of pictures and you do not want to add another song--or slow the duration of time down so that you can hear the totality of all the music while there are still images on the screen. I hope I am being clear enough here. Also, in case you wanted to preview the slide show before burning it to a DVD so not to waste them try this, this is copy and pasted from an email I had sent to the VSO Support team: "The only way to preview a PhotoDVD slideshow before burning it is to have the output sent to a folder on your HDD, then you can preview the output using some DVD playback software such as PowerDVD. If you are then happy with the outcome you can write the PhotoDVD to disc using "Tools>Burn an existing compilation" from the top of the PhotoDVD application. Thank you, Ken" Good luck, claire don't hesitate to write to the support team: http://www.vso-software.fr/supportform.php |

| I have a lot of pictures and the sound doesn't play through the whole length of the slideshow, only three songs will play after that pictures only. Even though the lenght of the songs is equal to length of pictures on the right. who knows why, I am going back to powerpoint. |

| Hi again, Well, after talking with the programmer, I have learned that this is a known bug. VSO has only seen this bug with MP3's. Did you use MP3's? If, not using a MP3, VSO would like to know what other bugs exist. If possible we would also like to take a peak at the songs used to verify that the problem comes from there. This information can be mailed to fred@vso-software.fr Explaination: programming error lies in that the length of a MP3 taken from your library is miscalculated and thus does not show it's true length, therefor "Even though the lenght of the songs is equal to length of pictures on the right" when played this is not what happens. Truely sorry that the bug exists, VSO is working on the problem, thank you for any additional information Claire |
