Hi

I'm having trouble with a backup of one of my orginal dvd movies called L.A Confidential. On both this backup and my original, i'm getting this error:

Too many commands in PGC (131) (2035:PGC.cpp).

I'm pretty sure that its the many precommands in VTS1 PGC1 (Main movie) that it reffers to. The problem is that in both my standalone players the movie hangs just when it has finished, and it was supposed to hit the main menu. It works fine in software players like Powerdvd.
I guess that is the result of the "too many commands" issue.

Is there any easy way to fix some of the commands to make it work. I tried to enter a cell command and point the last movie cell to that one, but Dvdremake will not let me add any more commands. So I'm kinda stuck.

Here are the files for inspection (I "hid" the main movie)

The specs allows only up to 128 commands per PGC. DVDRMP counts there are 131 commands: pre+post+cell. In the movie PGC, precommand area, there are checks for setting the appropriate subtitle. Do you really need this many subtitles? You can trim it down by deleting unwanted subtitles and then delete the appropriate commands for these unwanted subtitles in both PGC 1 & 2. This will reduce the number of commands to meet the max limit.

EDIT: Here's another way that will reduce the number of commands and you get to keep all the subtitles. I don't think it affects playback regarding subtitles being turned on/off.

1. In PGC1, pre-command, line 71, change goto line to 125. Then delete lines 16-69.
2. Do the same method as step 1 for PGC2: pre-command, line 68, change goto line to 123. Then delete lines 13-66.
